A Royal Wedding!

Prince William and Kate Middleton are set to Marry next year! The fashion world is going to go into a big kafuffle with who is going to design the wedding dress for the new Royal and what jeweler will they get the wedding ring from. Will though it would be perfectly fitting to propose with his late Mother 'Diana Princess of Wales' ring. But will the new couple marraige be more succesful than his parents.

Lets hope so.

On a lighter note on a visit to Harrods with my Cousins in the Egyptian area within the department store near the Dodi AlFayed and Diana memorial we were stod there looking at the beautiful ring and the sister and little cousin were curious and decided that it would be best resolved by screaming across the room and ask as ''The Queen killed them didn't she''. So my mother told her to ''Shut up an not scream such ridiculous things out loud'' in a public place at least. Then my little cousin decides to join her and also scream ''But she did, she did kill them. I saw it on th news and on TV, mum thats what you and dad was saying''. Only to find a whole load of proud British OAP'S stare at us with shocked expressions for thinking and even saying such things. They just smiled and walked out. Pure Embarassment it was. Once home my sister and cousin got a good old tell off from out mothers but, now we can't help but laugh at the incident.

Confessions of a shopaholic!

I may not already be a graduate with a position as a journalist for a financial magazine with an extremely attractive boss who lent me $20 before my interview with himself who i claimed to be a gift for my sickly aunt. With a huge debt, a landlord who wont stop hassling me. I am no Rebecca Bloomwood, but a SHOPAHOLIC I am.

End of a season approaches, old season stocks all lined up on railings, ready to be sold at discounted prices tempting everyone particularly those with little self control ie. myself to go spend there money on items which maybe out of trend but cheap. Whilst others maybe more practical for season after season and with the low pricing we go and buy it all. Searching through all the rails for any hidden gems that are ageless.

Ok.... Let's get real I am no creative writer!!

But definatly obsessed with shopping! A while ago my family and I went on a little ok maybe a big shopping trip in hope of finding a few nice bits and pieces for ourselves. As we got to our destination we had a look at all those surrounding us and couldn't help but feel a bit sad even a pang of jealousy looking at all the Arabs and Chinese with bags and bags of designer gear in thier hands. Lets just say by the end of the trip all of our hands were at breaking point as we could no longer carry any more bags, and as we got to our car the bags would not even fit. As i'ma bit of designer carrier bag hoarder I had to make sure that none of the bags would get scrunched up as I have a forever growing collection on top of my closet. But we were all shopped out to say the least.

Volt swarovski crystalized exhibit

Some months ago...

Location: Swarovski Crystalized Store London
A visit to Liberty just isn't a visit with out popping into the Swarovski Crystalized store. But this visit was different, as usually I just have a quick browse and walk out, this time I decided to take in my surroundings to notice some stairs, a lift, and a sign post which read something along the lines of Swarovski Cafe and Exhibition. Obviously I just had to go check it out...

The sofa in the centre of the exhibition space completly covered in tiny swarovski's not even leaving a millimetre to spare was absolutly beautiful!! I want one for my very own dressing room(Mum, Dad sell your house!)

Yes you probably guessed I quickly looked at the art pieces by various different artists so I could spend my time looking at the beautifully swarovski encrusted dresses.

My favourite was Antonio Berardi dress, which is very much on trend for SS 2010. It has the trates of many current trends such as 'underwear as outerwear' with the upper part of the dress being a corset and 'sheer' with the stomach area being revealed as it i made using sheer organza, and the colour of the dress is 'nude'. So thats three fashion trends in one very beautiful dress. The Swarovski's on the corsetted body just make it so girly.

All in all ... It was a truely an amazing exhibiton as i'm a sucker for Swarovski and pretty much anything bling!!... I own approximatly 18 swarovski headbands ;)

Apologies

I apologize in advance for my lack of grammer, even though I do try my best. I blame it on not studying English after the age of 16.

Welcome

I have been following a few blogs for some time now, and have finally decided to create my own. Even if it is out of boredom, or just a reason to not revise for my up and coming exams, prepare for presentations and complete pending assignments.

These past few days have been Bank holiday weekend which meant the whole family was home. I spent Saturday and Sunday in the house revising, sad but unfortunatly it's gotta be done, especially if i wanna graduate at the end of the next academic year. On Monday, which was yester day, my parent, brother, sister and myself all made a treck down to Westfield in Shepards Bush, like every family outing it involved looking at expensive things that we hope to purchase in the coming months, rude sales assistants (Dior), some frozen yogurt with white chocolate stars (strawberry's were out of stock) followed by some greasy pizza accompanied with the usual Pizza Hut starters.

Today was a fairly productive day, in terms of getting work done. But the evening was even better. I had a freshly baked 'Terry's chocolate orange' cupcake delivered to my door, at approximatly 10.30pm. Which tasted amazing. I could seriously get used to that. Or... Maybe not as my treadmill hasn't been very effecient for the past few months. Maybe i'm just destined to be a fatty, or maybe not as then I wont be able to fit in to all those nice expensive clothes available on Old Bond St.
